OUR STORY

School of afterschool?

Bilingly English School started as a small cultural exchange facility in Ishibashi Ikeda, Japan.
Our founder, a local Japanese himself, had several international friends in the neighborhood. Often talking with these residents, he noticed a language barrier between the locals and them. At the same time, many local Japanese residents wanted to make international friends and improve their English skills. To connect these two groups, he started English cafe talk sessions, encouraging locals to practice speaking English with his international friends.

Soon, many locals learned about the place and started bringing their children. That was when we realized we could do more than just hold café talk sessions; we could offer English lessons. Our small cultural exchange center had grown into an English afterschool.

Today, Bilingly School offers both in-person and online English lessons, connecting teachers and students worldwide.

Our goal is simple: to make language learning enjoyable, meaningful, and accessible for everyone. We view language as more than just words; it's a way to connect, build confidence, and open doors to new opportunities.
